Start with a public TikTok post

Sometimes the audio is the part you want to keep: a useful voice clip, a trending sound, a remix, or a short piece of music you want to reference later.

TikView can help you save audio when a supported public TikTok post returns an audio option. You do not need to install another app, create a TikView account, or enter your TikTok password.

When audio download is useful

Save a sound for later

If you find a public TikTok post with a sound you want to revisit, downloading the audio can make it easier to keep the reference outside the app.

Collect references for editing

Creators, editors, and marketers often need to review public sounds while planning short-form videos. Saving an available MP3 can make that workflow simpler.

Listen without reopening the app

If a supported audio file is available, you can save it to your device and play it later without searching for the original post again.

How to download TikTok audio with TikView

1. Copy the public post link

Open TikTok and find the public post that contains the audio you want. Use the share menu and choose copy link.

Go to TikView and paste the copied link into the search box. TikView will try to open the supported public result in your browser.

3. Check the available actions

If TikView can return media options for that public post, you may see download actions for video or audio. Choose the audio or MP3 option when it is available.

4. Save the file to your device

Your browser will handle the download. The exact save location depends on your device and browser settings.

What to know before downloading

TikView only works with supported public TikTok content. It cannot download audio from private accounts, deleted posts, restricted links, or unsupported results.

Some public posts may not return a separate audio option. In that case, TikView cannot force an MP3 download to appear.

Does it work on phone and desktop?

Yes. TikView runs in a browser, so you can try it on iPhone, Android, iPad, Mac, Windows, or another desktop device.

On mobile, the downloaded file may appear in your browser downloads, Files app, or another location controlled by your device. On desktop, it usually appears in your browser's default download folder.

Copy a supported public TikTok post link, open TikView, and check whether an audio download option is available.
